Farm Fencing in Lancashire
Farm Fencing & Agricultural Fencing in Lancashire
Farm and agricultural fencing is a major consideration and undertaking for landowners be they small holders or large estates.
Fencing in this type of environment can be used for a multitude of purposes i.e. stock fencing/proofing, boundary fencing, stock retaining i.e. pigs/sheep/goats/llama's/alpaca's or the exclusion of pests and vermin i.e. rabbits, deer and foxes.
Our commonly installed options are: post and rail, stock fencing (mesh wire and high tensile), deer and rabbit proof fences.
We only use high grade materials and generally prefer either Tornado or Cyclone wires. Our fences can then be topped off with whathever you choose i.e. single or double strands of barbed wire, plain line wires or wooden top rails for example.
Below is a handy guide to consider when looking at your new agricultural fencing possibilities:
- Will the fence require changes of elevation or direction
- Are you intending on keeping animals (stock) in, animals out or both
- What type of ground conditions and access do you have?
- What are the fences primary function, and also consider future usage i.e a multi-species fence
- Gates and or access requirements once fence is in place
We are happy to work on a supply and install basis, or simply to install only, with you supplying all the relevant material. Lancashire Fencing can also supply and install appropriate gates for agricultural use.
Lancashire Fencing can also repair existing broken or damaged fences where the majority of it is intact.
